Community Dog Show – June 2, 2024
In spite of the weather, the very first dog show, which combined 4H Canine KIds and SJC Dog Club participants was a great success! It was a full day with 5 classes: there were two showmanship rings. Then obedience, Canine Good Citizen practice, trick dog, and agility. It was a lot, and dogs and participants did amazingly! Everyone was a beginner, and it was good to see people get out and try and have a good time with their dog!
Thank you to Adriana, Dahlia, Jessica, Jeff, Tony, Beth, and Justin and their canine partners for participating and making it a great day. Thank you to Mackenzie and Laura for judging obedience and agility. Thank you to Terri for unwavering support and so much help. Thank you for family and friends for coming out and helping and supporting participants.
Congratulations to Dahlia for winning 4-H total dog best in show, and Adriana for winning 4-H Reserve best in show. Congratulations to Tony for winning total dog Best in Show for open, Beth for winning Reserve Best in Show and Jessica for winning honorable mention.
